About the Recipe

A very special energy bite bursting with vitality - trying spirulina may be out of your comfort zone, but it is a healthy way to boost nutrients in one bite.

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cups ground almonds

  • 1 tsp spirulina

  • 1 drizzle maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp water

  • Ground cinnamon, to coat

  • Dark chocolate, for drizzling (optional)

Preparation

Step 1


Mix the almonds and spirulina together, using your hands.


Step 2


Add the maple syrup and mix until you reach a dough-like consistency.


Step 3


Add the water and mix it until the mix sticks together.


Step 4


Take out a teaspoonful and shape into balls about 2cm in diameter. Roll in the cinnamon to coat.


Step 5


For an extra treat, drizzle some dark chocolate on top. Enjoy!
