About the Recipe

A gentle and nourishing start to the day when the appetite is poor. Sip slowly in the morning, use as a nutritious snack or sip every now and then throughout the day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut

  • 1 handful mixed berries (fresh or frozen)

  • 2 large romaine lettuce leaves

  • 1 tbsp nut butter

  • Ice

  • 1–2 dates, pitted, or ½ banana (optional)

Preparation

Step 1


Place all the ingredients in a blender.


Step 2


Blend until smooth and enjoy! If the mouth is sore, use a paper straw.


Anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants, coconut contains plenty of healthy fats and provides slow-release energy, making it a nutritious drink for recovery. It will help with maintaining weight.
