With the release of my 21 Day Christmas Sparkle Challenge, I wanted to write this blog going into a little bit more depth as to why this particular plan is so beneficial, and the immense value it can have on not only your physical wellbeing, but also towards developing a healthier mentality towards food.
Trying to lose weight or alter your eating pattern can be difficult, and there are many hurdles to fall at, from not being able to find the time to cook healthier, more complex options or giving into temptation because of loss of motivation. With this food plan, however, I have taken as much of this into account so you can start the programme knowing you will be supported the whole way through and will be able to see it through to completion.
Timing Is Everything
A key aspect of my Christmas Sparkle challenge is its timing. This three week course, beginning on Tuesday 12th November, starts you on a healthier path prior to Christmas, as opposed to the usual post-festive-season-indulgence-detox.
There are a number of advantages to getting a head start on your health plan. Firstly, you will feel and look great in time for the influx of parties and social events filling your calendar. More importantly, however, you will have fostered a healthier mind-set towards your diet meaning you may think twice when surrounded by the rich food and alcohol that define Christmas. Developing healthy habits early will encourage you to make better choices in an environment of such temptation.
There are hundreds of Christmas orientated food plans out there. Many of these plans however, are ambitious and complex, promising great results but ultimately an impracticality in our otherwise busy lives. Because they have not been developed with ease of use in mind, people tend to stray away from them and often don’t get the results they are hoping for.
With my Christmas Sparkle food plan however, every recipe has been carefully selected to factor in flavour and quality, but also ease. Each recipe in the plan takes around 15-30 minutes to prepare and cook, meaning you can seamlessly fit these healthier choices into your daily routine. In addition to this, the dishes themselves are a good mix of comforting classics and more ambitious recipes; that said, they are still easy to make and you won’t be searching the shopping aisles for mysterious and niche ingredients. This is a meal plan that fits easily into your schedule to keep you feeling motivated. I truly believe that if a food plan is manageable and crafted with not just taste but accessibility in mind, it is an all-together more successful venture.
I also believe it is of the utmost importance that my clients feel supported throughout their process. It is not easy to make changes which affect your day-to-day life in such a way, and it is easy to become de-motivated. This is why my Christmas Sparkle food plan includes two 30 minute consultations, one at the beginning of the programme and one at the end, and a mid-plan check-in call, to ensure you are staying on track and to answer any questions you may have, or just for some moral support. I want to make this process as easy as possible for you and I believe the best way to do so is by providing you with not only the means, but the support.
